We are proud of the care and attention we have given to the design and manufacture of our Humpties.
Humpties are a new design-led brand of pouffes which can be used as extra seating, coffee tables and footstools. They come in 4 sizes - 90cm, 75cm, 60cm and 45cm - and are very versatile adding colour and interest to any interior.
All covers can be bought separately making it very affordable to change or update your Humptie's look to suit your space. We plan to release 2 collections each year - sign up to our newsletter to be notified of new designs and launch dates.
Humpties are stitched and stuffed in our workshop in Cumbria using natural, sustainable fabrics for the covers and locally sourced wool for our unique inserts.
Humpties covers are digitally printed onto a linen/viscose fabric and have a cotton twill base. All seams are double stitched with upholstery grade bonded thread and overlocked with cotton thread for strength and longevity. We use heavy-duty upholstery zips.
We didn't want to scrimp on comfort or quality so the robust cotton insert is stuffed with locally sourced upland wool, the durability and tensile strength of which means your Humptie will retain it's shape beautifully and require minimal plumping.
Fabrics and stuffing are biodegradeable.
Humpties are fire retardant to British standards.
We use exclusive fabrics designed for us by talented British designers and artists that you won’t see anywhere else.
Humptie designs are selected from entries submitted to us via our annual competition which we run twice a year.
We license the winning fabric designs on an exclusive basis for a limited period and pay winning designers a prize fee as well as royalties based on the number of metres sold.
Our fabrics are expertly printed by Standfast & Barracks.
