We use exclusive fabrics designed for us by talented British designers and artists that you won’t see anywhere else. Humptie designs are selected from entries submitted to us via our annual competition which we run twice a year.

We license the winning fabric designs on an exclusive basis for a limited period and pay winning designers a prize fee as well as royalties based on number of Humpties sold.

Zigzag 1 2 3 4

I am a textile designer just graduated with a First Class Honours degree. I have a strong eye for colour and detail that allows my pattern and print skills to develop into unusual and unique outcomes.

Inspiration for my Humptie designs came from photographs I’d taken of shadows forming on stairs in an athletics stadium in Rouen, France where the floodlights created amazing geometric and graphic patterns. Visit emmabyres.co.uk to see more work.

I’ve been a graphic designer for 30 years and began my career in the music industry designing record sleeves for bands including the Smiths and Everything but the Girl.

Textile design is an exciting new discipline I am keen to persue further. Inspiration for my Humptie designs is drawn from the bold graphic elements found in the embroidered fabrics and feltwork of Central Asia which adapt well to the Humptie shape.
